iAction (“the App”) is built by nobeldata. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.
Your Personal Data Stays on Your Device
All of your content — personal statement, roles, goals, weekly reviews, and settings — is stored locally on your
device using on-device storage. This data is never sent to our servers or any third party. If you delete the App, this
data is permanently removed.
Data We Collect
The App uses two third-party services to help us improve the experience and fix issues:
Analytics (PostHog)
We collect anonymous usage events to understand how the App is used. These events include actions like “goal
created” or “weekly review completed” but never include the content of your goals, roles, or personal statement. This
data is processed by PostHog and stored in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Screen views
- Feature usage events (e.g., goal created, review completed)
- Basic device information (OS version, app version)
Error Monitoring (Sentry)
When the App encounters an error, a crash report is sent to Sentry so we can identify and fix bugs. These reports
may include device information and technical details about the error but do not include your personal content. This
data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt).
Session Replay (Sentry)
To help diagnose issues, the App may record anonymous session replays when an error occurs. These replays capture
the screen layout and interactions but text fields are masked to protect your privacy. Session replays are stored in
the EU.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information (the App has no accounts or
sign-in) - We do not collect the content of your personal statement, roles, goals, or reviews
- We do not sell, share, or rent any data to third parties
- We do not use advertising or ad tracking
Notifications
The App may request permission to send local notifications for goal reminders and weekly review prompts. These
notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication.
Data Export and Backup
The App provides a data export feature that creates a JSON file containing all your data. This file is generated
and stored on your device. How you share or store that file is your responsibility.
Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. The App has no accounts, so we have no way of
determining a user’s age.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
